A patient named ( J.B.) from West Bengal aged as 40 yrs got a new lease of life after a broad ligament fibroid weighing 4.8 kg impinging the blood vessels and Ureter was successfully removed by a team of doctors comprising of Gynecology Dr.Pratyush Roy and Surgeon Dr.S.K.Mohanty & Anesthetist Dr.Saroj Sahu on dt.24th July, 2017 . The patient is still under treatment and is in a stable now . It was a miraculous rescue for the patient as she was taken up for surgery at a hospital in West Bengal & in the middle of the surgery the doctors found it difficult to remove the tumor because the important blood vessels & Ureter were found close to the tumor .The abdomen was closed & patient was directly referred from OT to Vivekanand Hospital , Bhubaneswar .
